Karen Durant won the Myrtl Evertt Woman of the Year Award for Abbotsford in May 2006. Her interesting life, business ideals and community spirit made her an obvious choice.

Karen has sung at 18 music festivals over the years, but surprisingly the Bassic Sax Jazz Ensemble is her first professional musical experience.
